What To Expect From Start To Finish

This page outlines the standard terms for any video project we take on — from first ideas to final delivery. It helps keep expectations clear, so we can focus on what matters most: making something great together.

1. Scope Of Work

All services, including pre-production, production, and post-production, will be outlined in a quote, email, or written agreement. Any additional work or deliverables beyond the agreed scope may incur extra charges.

2. Project Deliverables

Final deliverables will be clearly outlined before filming begins.

Additional deliverables requested after production (e.g. extra edits, social media cuts) may be subject to added fees.

Deliverables will be provided in the agreed-upon format(s). Alternate formats may incur additional charges.

3. Revisions

Projects include up to two rounds of revisions. A “revision” refers to reasonable adjustments to timing, pacing, text, graphics, or shot selection within the scope of the original project brief and structure.

Revisions do not include major restructuring, reworking the narrative, adding new scenes, or incorporating new footage or deliverables not included in the original quote.

Requests falling outside the scope of the included revisions will be assessed separately, and a new quote and delivery timeline will be provided before any additional work begins.

Further revisions may be billed at an hourly or flat rate, as outlined in the quote or confirmed in writing.

Revisions must be requested within 10 business days of delivery unless otherwise agreed.

4. Project Timeline & Delivery

Estimated timelines for drafts, revisions, and final delivery will be shared at the start of the project. These timelines depend on timely client input and may shift if feedback or approvals are delayed.

5. Ownership & Usage Rights

Pintea Films retains full copyright of all raw footage and final edited videos.

Clients are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the final deliverables for the agreed purpose (e.g. marketing, internal use, social media).

Raw footage is not included unless specifically arranged and may incur a fee.

Pintea Films reserves the right to use any footage or edited content for promotional purposes (website, social media, portfolio), unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Footage Requests

Requests for raw footage or additional clips beyond the agreed deliverables must be made formally and may incur a fee for data handling and preparation.

7. Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The specific amount will be outlined in the quote or written agreement.

The remaining balance is due before final delivery of the completed video(s).

Late payments may be subject to a 2% monthly interest fee.

8. Refund Policy

Due to the time, planning, and resources involved in each project, all payments made to Pintea Films are non-refundable. However, every effort will be made to ensure the final deliverables align with the agreed-upon expectations through a collaborative and solution-focused process.

9. Cancellation & Postponement

If the client cancels less than 48 hours before the scheduled shoot, the deposit will be retained to cover pre-production work, coordination efforts, and any non-refundable expenses incurred.

Postponements due to weather, illness, or other uncontrollable events will be rescheduled in good faith, based on availability.

10. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to provide timely input, approvals, and support to keep the project moving and on schedule.

Delays in communication or approvals may affect delivery timelines and result in additional costs.

11. Limitation Of Liability

While all reasonable care is taken, Pintea Films is not liable for unforeseen events, technical issues, or delays beyond its control.

12. Good Faith Clause

Both parties agree to act in good faith throughout the project—maintaining open communication, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset.
